AXR 5000 and 5800
The AXR 5000 and 5800 feature an improved cooling system that helps these motors last longer. Better cooling reduces the wear and tear on insulation and bearings caused by high temperatures. Internal air circulation has been increased and on the outside the cooling ribs maximize the cooling surface area. Even the end shields have been designed for optimized cooling.

Brake Motor
ABB's brake motors are standard motors modified for braking duties, i.e. three phase induction motors with standard dimensions and output rating. The electromagnetic disc brake is powered, either DC or three phase AC current, from a rectifier located in the motor terminal box.
